I'm suprised that your M1A would accept neck sized only brass. I've never seen one that would, but. All High Power shooters that I know full length resize the minimum amount necessary to assure reliable functioning.

You can check the cases for insipid case head seperation by making a tool out of a paper clip. Extend all but the last loop and bend a 3/16" L (90 degrees) on the end. With the bent tip, "feel" the inside base of the case for a groove. If there is one, discard the case. If not, reuse it.
