A 3x9x40 or fixed 4x or 6x would be great for your needs. There are some sweet deals on nikon prostaffs and weaver 40/44's I saw online at natchez today both were onsale under $120 and the bushnell elite 3200's are on clearance for $150ish. Any of those 3 would be a great bang for your buck in my opinion. I am partial to the weavers because you get a great scope for the price and their customer service has been outstanding in my experience. Good luck!
