Gentleman,
I am fixing to have a mauser converted into a scout in 30.06. Will use a Choate camo stock. I thought I'd go with a stepped barrel in military contour in order to make scope mounting(drilling and tapping) easier. Do any of you have any specific suggestions on the scope mount and rings to purchace for this barrel? Will use a Burris Scout scope. Thank you.
