Looking to purchase a scope for my 10/22 with my tax return. I have found a lot of recommendations for these two scopes on the firing line site. I just want to hear any experience people might have with each of these scopes. Also what will I need besides the actual scope? Do they come with rings? I have heard the rail the 10/22 comes with is garbage and should purchase after market rails, is this true?
Forgot to mention the uses will be plinking, squirrel hunting, and possibly some matches in the future. Ranges from 10 yds to 100+
