I think we mostly got so used to the absolutely, insanely ridiculous, "I'm not paying that!" prices that now we're OK with today's only mind-numbingly stupid prices... Kind of like what they did to us with gas... when it was $1.35, we thought $2 was stupid... then it hit $4 and now we "happily" pay $3.
Well, .22LR is still 2x (at best) what it was before the panic hit... and I still ain't buying it.
