Just got an email back from Beretta. They said the pistol is unrepairable and they will be exchanging it for a new one. No word yet on how long that will take but honestly I am just happy they are standing by their warranty and sending me a new pistol. Thumbs up to Beretta customer service, would not hesitate to buy another gun from them knowing they take care of their customers.
