If it's more than $25, they don't want your business and will laugh at you for not realizing that. When I'm in Illinois (2 years and I still haven't changed my darn license) I spend easily the difference in gas to give my business to a really good guy (owner of Thin Blue Line in Wood Dale). The transfer is worth $25, and the time and gas is worth the conversation. I hope I can always find somebody I can say that about and stick with 'em.
