Europeans load the 8mm or 7.9mm to 30-06 performance and trajectory. In contrast, Remington ammo is barely faster than the oldy (but goody) 32 Special. Any Europe-made ammo is up to the task for long distance work. Up close, say under 150 yards or so, I'd go with Remington core-lokt because I used to know a Shepard in Wyoming that shot many elk with his old German Mauser and Remington ammo. None got away!
