I think there are three threads on this same subject going on right now.
To answer, yes, I load Speer capsules with # 7 1/2 shot for snake loads to use in my .44 mag. Ruger Redhawk. Very effective. When I had my farm I carried with two shot loads as the first up, bullets after that.
