The model 36 with a 3' barrel is very collectable. The chief is normally seen with the 2" barrel and is very concealable especially with the original round butt wood grips. In excellent condition even with the pachmeyers the 3" version should be a steal.

Cost will vary depending on what part of the country you live in. For some reason both the smith and colt snubbies are beginning to catch on again, because they're better than the new ones , especially sans key to lock and unlock it.

I know more than a few retired LE who are weeping today, cause they regret letting their reliable off duty to be seperated from them for a sum of $25.My DS still gets a chance to get out for it's occassional well deserved walks. If it's in exc cond and functions properly GRAB IT QUICKLY![/B]
