The crimp die is definitely of the roll-crimp variety and works splendidly with .45 Colt loads; in fact this set of dies has turned out some of the most accurate .45 ACP/,45 Colt ammo I've ever loaded

Sorry to burst your bubble, 20nickles, but according to the product number of Hornady's the roll crimp die is in this set. Also, even though DEDON claimed to buy "new" doesn't necessarlily mean it was newly made...
