Remington has been circling the drain for years. There have been several attempts that have kept them from going completely under in recent years and this is another temporary reprieve. I still don't have long term confidence in the company.

They have long term commitments via court order to repair millions of defective guns. That adds up to billions of dollars just to correct past mistakes. It is hard to come up with new and innovative quality products in the future with that hanging around your neck.
