I've found the easiest way to quote is to press the quote icon ( ) first which will give you an empty set of quote tags. Then copy and paste whatever you want to quote inside those tags.

This is exactly what I did here.
...And it worked!
I used the same process in the first attempt in this thread, and it didn't work.
