Bushmaster and M&P Sport
First, there is nothing wrong with the Bushmaster. It is the current contract rifle for my department. It actually came in second behind the Rock River Arms, but was less expensive and met all the requirements.
IMHO the Sport is the most bang for the buck. I have had excellent results with the sport and it is department approved to carry on duty as a patrol rifle for those wishing to carry their own rifle.
