I like the Taurus Judge/Public Defender or the Bond Derringer 45/410. It has a Big hole to get the wide eyed effect and it's not entirely dependent upon aim w/the shotgun shells....more pointing than aim. I carry a holstered Bond stainless Snake Charmer in my truck's console with the 45/410 bbl and the blued Public Defender 45/410 is next to my bed. The Bond is a good gun to have if there's a belligerant raging problem at my truck's side window. At close quarters the 45/410 is definitely a problem solver. Of course if there's a truck exit needed, I carry a Springfield XDS 45 ACP on my person. I like big holes tho. Most of the time they do the job in silence just by being produced.
