I purchaced a savage semi auto Mod 64 from Walmart in late September of last year for my youngest daughter. It is a decent rifle and quite accurate. My 9 yr old daughter does quite well with it with the exception of loading the clip style magazine. The spring inside is a bit stiff and dificult for her to load. I leave the magazine loaded fully and stored in the lock safe. It is slowly getting easier to load as the spring softens. I also purchaced a spare magazine and it is kept loaded too.
