Sidekick? Ain't nothin' wrong with it as a primary. The problem is that most of the bullets sold today are made for SD. Load that up with a 170-180 gr cast bullet with a big meplat and a stout load and it will go to 100yrds. It's not a 41-44-45 but it will do the job if you place it right. and if you don't place it right with a blackhawk it's your fault.
