Well remember a couple of months ago we all saw the .50 BMG video where the perp got blasted through the chest and didn’t get “knocked back”?

Well if you combine that with all of the first hand testimonials we et from trauma doctors and such, it’s obvious there are only three things that stop the attacker.

A) massive blood loss (takes awhile)
B) severe damage to the central nervous system. (head shot, bullets lodged in spine)
C) shock

I may not be head checker at wal-mart, but I can add 2+2. If ONLY those things are going to put him down, then whaat you need is a deep penetrating, sharp, jagged heavy projectile. The bigger it opens and more jagged the protrusions the better as long as it penetrates deep enough to lodge in the spinal cord after it blows though your heart and lung cavity.

Big, heavy, sharp and deep penetrating will put them down the fastest with the least left to chance.

When you look at it that way .45 auto is the obvious choice (cause .50 is stupid) and the more jagged the projectile the better. Look at the “talons” on that 230 grain.
