They are excellent guns. I've been told the mags are diff. fnp vs FNX. The FNX has a few upgrades over the fnp, most importantly it has more chamber support. I have owned 5 total 2 fnp 3 FNX all 45 acp. On my examples the D/A pull was about the same but the S/A pull is a little nicer on the FNX. The trigger plus its ability to soak up recoil make it a very accurate Pistol. The fit and finish is also a little nicer on the newer models FNX
