The Model 10-7 started production in 1977, logo was moved from the side plate to left side frame in 1981, 1982 pinned barrel removed and started using the 3 letter prefix, 1988 non heavy barrel model number changed to 10-9(10-8 was the same change as the 10-7 but for the heavy barreled model 10's)
My lists do not give me much info on the 3 letter 4 number serial #'s but by looking at the picture I think you are looking at some where 1982-1988.
Hope that helps till somebody chimes in with a more modern serial # list.
