From what I read in a quick Google search is the D stands for dense. I think the formula was changed but the burn rate was not. It looks like it was made as a shotgun powder and falls between Clays and HP38. It should be good powder but I have also seen reports that it is inconsistant which is not good for accuracy. I know how it is with powder that there are no real tables for. I want to use ramshot powder and there is not a lot of data on it published. Plenty on the internet though but I am not a very tursting guy with internet handloads. Good luck with the powder.
