I used Shooter’s choice when it first came out – it seemed to be OK, nothing special about it. Sweets 7.62 seemed to be the best for copper removal back then also. Today we have much better products and there are several on the market. Myself, I’m currently using Bore Tech products – namely the carbon remover and Cu+2 for copper removal.

If you decide to try the CU+2 for copper – just be advised you need a jag made from aluminum, stainless steel or similar material, as the normal brass jag will give you a false positive for copper before the patch is inserted into the barrel – that’s how fast that chemical works.
