I've been asked numerous times to provide a tutorial on my site for fitting the action to the stock, and for bedding. Trying to find the time to get it done..

You should have pre-fit the action and the trigger guard, pillars in place, and action screws torqued to verify alignment and fit.

Did you set the elevation of the action in the stock correctly as I suggested above?
