I'm just curious, but why would you want to push that bullet so slow?
I'm gonna shoot a turkey. The .22 Hornet is a wonderful round to do this. It will make a nice, .22 caliber hole in the bird without ruining any meat. Shoot that bird with a .223 factory round, and you will get a puff of feathers, surrounded by a pink mist.

I have ordered a CZ 527 American in .223 Remington. I could have ordered the same gun in .22 Hornet, and had the perfect turkey rifle. But, I'm greedy. I ordered the .223, which lets me handload from turkey velocities up to smacking prairie dogs at imaginary ranges.... !
