What I found worked well was the Velcro starp on type. Not 100% as they can loose an occasional case through the edges and sometime hot cartridge will melt the plastic (not suppose to but) , but overall works pretty well.
Also easy and quick to put on and pull off for the cease fires.
Take a bit of working with it to get tight and figure out how it snugs up best

This gun will never see a range, fortunately I've been blessed with my own farm big enough I can regularly shoot up to 600 yards.
