That's not a bad idea my friend,,,
And something I have actually been asked to do,,,
Not for the Boy Scouts, but for a local church group I know.
But not my idea of a semi-luxurious vacation though,,,
I want clean sheets every day with cable and air conditioning at night.
I know there are luxurious fishing lodges around Minnesota and Michigan,,,
Shucks, Drummond Island (where I lived as a kid) has a fishing lodge,,,
I would simply like to find one that has extensive shooting facilities.
Get up in the morning,,,
Smiling waitress bring me Belgian waffles,,,
Trundle out to the range and pop several hundred 9mm rounds in leisurely fashion,,,
Perhaps there would be a facility where a nice lunch could be had in air conditioned comfort,,,
Then maybe the afternoon could be spent on a different range where I could hone my exceptional (cough-cough) long gun skills.
Come back to the room,,,
Shower, powder, and dress for dinner,,,
Have a well cooked steak and retire to the bar,,,
Spend the rest of the evening fibbing to my fellow shooters,,,
About why I missed that one shot, when all the rest were one ragged hole.
A week of that and I could die a happy man.
