David Petzal liked it pretty well

In his review he points out that it is not a work of art but is incredibly accurate. I guess the point is you don't need a finely $4000 rifle with gorgeous furniture to drop a deer or moose effectively. As a matter of fact I would probably feel more comfortable carrying a gun in the woods on a rainy or snowy day that while reliable and accurate I wouldn't care if it gets dinged up or soaking wet. $280 sounds like a great price to me.
