IF it is a copy of the Beretta, the mag cutoff will be on the left side of the receiver.
The button, (at least on the Beretta), is used to hold the bolt open when shooting singles and you are dropping the round in the chamber, not the mag tube. Whether this is the same with the CZ can be easily determined next time out shooting
