I didn't end up loading any .44 Spls. because as I was digging in one of my range ammo cans I found that I already had 75 rounds loaded with 231.
I'm not that fond of 231 in the .44 Spl. I find it to be very spotty accuracy wise. I think it's just too little powder in too big a case.
There's a new powder out, I forget what it's called, that has a MUCH higher loading density. Dammit I can't remember who makes it, but it's a donut shaped powder. Mtnbkr turned me on to it.

I did, however, load some .41 mag. with 13.5 grains of AA 7 with a 210-gr. hard cast lead bullet.
That was a good load. Gave a good magnum thump and came very close to hitting to point of impact.
