Yes, the CZ 83 in several calibers is being discontinued, and for a sound economical reason - sales. There are several smaller carry guns that use the same or larger calibers, with far more local availability in the US than the physically larger CZ-82/83. The CZ-82, of course, was "discontinued" years ago when the Czech police upgraded the the CZ PCR 9mm pistol.
I think there will be parts availability for several years yet, though that is a semi-educated guess.
