Good morning
Any centerfire caliber (.22´s are difficult) can be loaded with a round ball. The RB can be a few thousands over size as they redily conform to chamber size. Start with whatever a manual shows as the lightest charge of fast powder (231, Red Dot, Bullseye..) and start reducing to whatever noise level you are looking for. The smaller the case the more consistant ignition will be. 30-06 and larger cases are not impossible to work with.
