Pull the barrel off and inspect the chamber, if it's not glass-smooth: Get a drill, piece of cleaning rod, 12 ga. brush, wrap it in steel wool, spray the wool with oil, and have a go at it. Don't be shy, really let 'er have it until it's smooth. Just stay in the chamber, although I doubt you'd hurt anything if you got into the forcing cone or barrel. I do this to all my hunting guns yearly, takes 5 minutes and makes a world of difference after you get all that plastic residue and fouling out.
