I would probably go a little lower than the top of the market. If there's no handling/shipping involved, I'd probably go for more like $5 / 100, especially if you acquired the brass before the current market conditions existed and you have the brass to spare. Who knows, some day he may return the favor (but don't do it with that expectation). Risking a friendship isn't worth a few extra dollars. There's also nothing wrong with just giving it to him, especially if it's surplus for you.
