These types of events can be a turn off to everyday shooter: if your skill is pressed to get a pair every now and then, then you're not gonna bet $5 that you can get 5, 6 or 7. I've organized tournaments and fund-raisers before, IMHO, for charity events, you'll get better response if you offer prizes based on skill and chance. The better shooters can go for the high score and trick shot prizes and the average shooters can go for the chance based prizes.
