Older members will remember that last year, TFL was a major sponsor of the 3rd annual IMCS, which was held last July in Ohio.

With the STC Nationals being moved to Texas next fall, their normal Spring date at the incredible Markham Park facility outside of Ft. Lauderdale, FL has opened up and we are taking advantage of it.

The 4th Annual IMCS will again be benefitting Wish Upon a Star, which grants wishes to terminally ill children. Some of you may have read about WUAS and IMCS recently in North American Hunter magazine. In the article, the president of WUAS stated how much he appreciated the shooting sports efforts to raise money for WUAS and that the board has already approved the idea of granting a sick child a "hunt of a lifetime" if they are asked.

Irlene has helped to raise over $110,000 for WUAS through shooting competitions in the past few years.

The 4th Annual IMCS will be primarily a shotgun competition (trap, skeet, sporting clays), but Smith & Wesson will be helping out this year with a handgun side event, in order to take complete advantage of the resources at Markham Park.

In addition to TFL and S&W, sponsors have included: National Shooting Sports Foundation, The Wild Turkey Federation, Winchester Ammunition, Ruger Firearms, PMC Ammunition, White Flyer Targets, Champion Targets, Flint River Outdoorwear, Glock Inc., Wiley-X, Clark Custom Guns, Quail Unlimited, Realtree Outdoor Products, GSI Inc, Merkel Shotguns, Tri-Star Arms, Remington, and many other National and Local Sponsors.

I hope to see some of you there. Email for more info. Our website will be updated soon and I'll post the URL.
