I agree which ever you shoot best with. I own a full size Beretta 96d fs its chambered for .40 s&w its' recoil feels the same and less than some 9mms I've had, and depending on the amount of grain for the rounds will/can dictate the amount of felt recoil. 9s are cheaper tho' usually...but they are both good calibers IMO. Yea I wanna go shooting now
