that is one way of thinking about it. not only have i wanted a .40 for years, but i have been drawn to the subcompact m&p in .40 since they came out. who knows, maybe ill pull the trigger on it. if i end up with a ton of overtime around xmas like i did last year, maybe ill buy the .40 and the 1911
