Yeah I think that's what it is, but I think it is maybe an earlier production than what I'm currently seeing for sale? Here is the current product from Midway:

On mine, the rod doesn't have the job at the end that holds the primer. When I put it in the press the first time, I couldn't figure out how it would hold a primer. I tried again and after you raise the ram, the plunger pushes up on the priming rod and the base of the rod catches somewhere so that it doesn't drop down into the die all the way and the primer can sit on top of the priming rod, in the hole of the shell holder.

I will try to seat some primers, see if it works
