Tommy Abernathy, Precision Gun Works, Mt. Holly, NC. It's not far from SC. Tommy specializes in the 1911, although I've also seen some of his work on Glocks and Witnesses. He does all his own work except for refinishing, which he farms out to Checkmate. He's a one-man shop and doesn't advertise, but he has been written up in one or two of the gun rags.
