Shooting 06 from an 8 or 9lb milsurp isn't really pleasant, but its not real pain.
Real pain is shooting a 6lb Ruger No. 3 .45-70 pushing a 350gr slug to 2200fps, with the factory steel buttplate....prone!
And, there are a few guns that are even worse!
