I'm curious about this issue. I don't own a Shield but I'm puzzled as to how this could happen. Is it an issue with the recoil spring? Guide rod? Both? Does the recoil spring come dislodged while shooting?
When reassembling, wouldn't you notice the guide rod/recoil spring aren't lined up?
