Fubsy introduced me to O'Toole's Law which constantly sits on your shoulder and he brings Mr. Murphy along just to make sure things go wrong.

I'd like to make a list of things that can go wrong with your help so that all of us TFL'ers can learn from this list:

What can go wrong in real life ?

1)Your gun is not 100% reliable...it jams at the wrong time.

2)You haven't really tried out the ammo that you have presently in your mag...it(ammo) fails to feed..slide doesn't close preventing the weapon from firing.

3) Your weapon tends to malfunction once in a while when you don't clean it...you're coming home from a good day at the range, you have need of your handgun...it malfunctions.

4) You haven't had a chance to practice a lot of drawing from the holster..Situation calls for you to draw your weapon...
a)holster comes out with the weapon,
b)holster is not broken in yet, you can't draw your weapon for love nor money.
c)weapon hangs up on jacket because you haven't tried drawing a lot with this jacket.
d)holster is too big, gun comes out by itself....to land on the ground 5 feet in front of you.
Etc., ETc. Help?

5)You're not using a holster, you're carrying with gun in waistband (Mexican carry)..pants is too big, shorts eats gun.

6)Wrong type belt to hold gun in holster, gun falls out in theatre making a loud clunk sound.

7) Holster is not really "concealing" gun..girlfriend sees bulge in pants just thinks you're really glad to see her.

8)You draw weapon and accidentally hit mag release, mag drops out of gun.

Any of these things happen to you? What other ways has O'Toole visited you? or Mr. Murphy?
