Nope. Straw purchase only applies to firearms purchased from FFLs. If you have no reason to believe the person you hand the gun to is prohibited from possessing the gun, and you have no reason to believe that the reason they are obtaining the gun from you is specifically to commit a crime with it or to provide it to a prohibited person, then you have fulfilled your duty. Assuming there is no reason to not believe that everyone is same state residents.
