I don't know, if they'd subbed out the other stuff like the .357s they might have done ok. Ever see an Automag with High Standard trademark? They tried to get marketing for them. The assorted .22 revolvers were not fancy but they sold ok, doubt they hurt the company.
Wasted a lot of time and money on the in-house Crusader project, though.
Late guns of low quality were a nail in the coffin.
