I'd like to know more about why the .17HMR is "not suitable for use in semi-automatic firearms". This is a tremendous recall and will cost Remington a very large amount of money. I think a more thorough explanation is warranted.
Ken, since you have a relatively unique perspective on the gun industry, if you could share any such information as you come across it, I (and probably many others) would greatly appreciate it.
