As above, this is a fairly new S&W made in the last few years.

Key indicators are the long lug behind the cylinder that prevents the cylinder from coming off to the rear, and the small circular lock device just above the cylinder release.
If a special key is used the lock can be rotated and that locks the hammer so it can't be fired.
These are features shared by almost all S&W revolvers made within the last 10 years or so.

The model number is a 36, the "-10" is used by S&W to denote design changes to the model.
This is commonly referred to as the "dash number".
As I recall the Dash-10 is the current S&W version of the Model 36, so this was made rather recently.

The value depends on the actual condition but it will be worth no more than any other recently made Model 36.
