Do bride and groom get each other wedding gifts? Is that the norm now? Sheesh, I thought the diamond engagement ring was the groom's gift to his bride! The point of a wedding is to accumulate enough loot from the help of friends and relatives to get the two of you a good head start in securing a house and starting a family. Now, when your wife has a child, you better get her something nice!....and NOT a gun.
