The TRP is at the top of the heap for production 1911s but I think the Baer would be worth the extra $200. The chances of you needing warranty work on the Baer would be slim.

If it is going to be a carry gun I would definitely go with the SA. Save some $$$$ and the Les Baer would be more of a BBQ carry gun. More of a safe queen or strictly range gun it seems.

That post makes very little sense to me. Baers beg to be beat on like a red headed step child and will only ask for more.
