This does make me question the wisdom of avoiding discussion of politics, when politicians are known to be anti-gunners.

While this thread should not veer into a political discussion . . . in one's private life, in the appropriate forum, it is good to be armed with the facts for whenever the opportunity for a useful political discussion may arise.
