I don't have the money to buy lots during a panic or afterward. I basically get the same stuff. One gun every two years or so, more often if I sell another gun I already had, about 150-250 rounds of carry ammo a year, maybe 1k rounds of practice ammo. New holsters for any new handgun I get.
And that about taps me out for money.
So the panic doesn't change my buying habits much, just means I have to get a little less of the same or go longer between buying ammo based on availability.
